Frequently Asked Questions

What is the FoundersPAC scorecard?

The FoundersPAC scorecard tracks constitutional and limited-government principles based on key votes cast by members of Congress and state legislators. Each lawmaker receives a score reflecting how often they voted in alignment with these positions.

How are lawmaker scores calculated?

Scores are calculated as the percentage of weighted key votes a lawmaker cast in alignment with Founders PAC's position. Bills are selected and weighted by FoundersPAC's research team. See the methodology page for full details on vote selection, weighting, and the participation threshold for receiving a finalized rating.

What does a high or low score mean?

A high score (90%+) means a lawmaker voted in alignment with Founders PAC's positions on nearly every key vote. A low score means they voted against Founders PAC's positions on most key votes. Lawmakers below the participation threshold are marked N/A.

How can I find a specific lawmaker?
